Safety is another issue at the Jack Casino. They have also stopped matching employee’s contributions to their 401ks.
Jack Entertainment has made record profits through its casino activities before and after the temporary pandemic shut down but has made two pitiful offers which were voted down by employees. One of the unions involved, the UAW is clearly either incompetent or just willing to stand by and let the employees who pay their salaries through union dues be taken advantage of by their employer. The contract for non-management employees is 15 months past its renewal date and the offers that Jack Entertainment has made through the unions have been so dreadful as to be considered bad faith negotiations. They have willfully ignored even the simplest requests that could make work there much more enjoyable. This is truly the only company I have worked for in 30 years about which I can say that management, particularly Human Resources, has created a toxic work environment.
